The strike postponed the scheduled start of the Italian league on the weekend of Aug. 27-28 and only ended when the players’ association and league signed a temporary collective contract, which will expire in June.
Fiorentina will play at Siena in a Tuscan derby on Dec. 20 and defending champion AC Milan will play at Cagliari. The following day, it will be: Napoli vs. Genoa, Atalanta vs. Cesena, Bologna vs. Roma, Inter Milan vs. Lecce, Lazio vs. Chievo Verona, Novara vs. Palermo, Parma vs. Catania and Udinese vs. Juventus.
