UEFA says it has agreed to a fast-track hearing in Lausanne on Nov. 24. Sion must also consent to the process.

Sion is challenging UEFA’s decision to award Celtic 3-0 wins by default because the Swiss club selected ineligible players for both legs of a playoff in August. Sion had won the tie 3-1 on aggregate.

Scottish club Celtic was reinstated into a group including Atletico Madrid, Rennes and Udinese. All four are expected to be represented at the CAS hearing.

UEFA says it has proposed three “totally realistic” fixture list options to reintegrate Sion if the club wins the case.
