After his team missed four of the last five penalty kicks, culminating in winger James Milner's failure deliver against Slovenia's Maribor on Wednesday, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp is seeking a player to resolve the Reds' recurring problem.

"After you win a game there's not a big concern, but of course you don't like this," Klopp said in a post-game press conference on Wednesday.

"Today's penalty was a really good one. Roberto [Firmino] missed one before that and Milly [James Milner] missed. We will find a player," the Liverpool coach concluded.

Wednesday's match brought Milner's second straight spot kick failure so far this season.

The first came on 7 May during the goalless draw with Southampton in the 36th matchday of the English Premier League, before Wednesday's during the 3-0 win over Maribor in the UEFA Champions League.

Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah also lost a penalty kick on 23 October against Huddersfield Town in the English Premier League, following Brazilian Roberto Firmino's miss during the 2-2 draw with Sevilla in the first round of the UEFA Champions League group stage games on 13 September.
