Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho
The Portuguese left Chelsea in 2007 after winning two league titles and was hired by Madrid in 2010 after a trophy-laden two seasons at Inter Milan.
But success in Madrid has been limited to one Copa del Rey title while Barcelona, a side considered the best ever, has dominated Spanish and European football.
Despite insisting Madrid is “probably the biggest club in the history of football,” Mourinho told the BBC: “My passion is England.”
He says his “next step will be to go back and, if possible, go and stay for a long time.”
In response to questions by double Olympic champion Sebastian Coe in a radio interview, Mourinho said: “Get me a club in a couple of years.”
