Borussia Dortmund on Thursday said that they have extended the contracts of former Germany defender Patrick Owomoyela and Australian reserve goalkeeper Mitchell Langerak.
The Bundesliga champions said that 32-year-old Owomoyela, who has been at the club since 2008, would stay on until next year, although he only played 11 times last season due to a series of injuries.
Langerak, 23, made two appearances last year, including in the 5-2 German Cup final win against Bayern Munich, when he replaced the injured Roman Weidenfeller in the first half. He is now contracted until 2016.
Sporting director Michael Zorc said: "Mitch has made continued progress over the last two seasons."
Langerak arrived at Dortmund in mid-2010 from Australian side Melbourne Victory to make up for the loss of Weidenfeller's previous stand-in, Marc Ziegler, who left for Stuttgart.
