Gary Cahill was sent for an X-ray on his jaw during England's friendly international against Belgium at Wembley on Saturday.

In the first half of the match, England's final dress rehearsal before they head to the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine, Chelsea defender Cahill was shoved in the back by Belgium's Dries Mertens.

As a result, he collided with England goalkeeper Joe Hart and was left looking groggy. Mertens was booked and moments later Cahill was taken off by England manager Roy Hodgson and replaced by Joleon Lescott.

England's Football Association later confirmed that Cahill was having an X-ray at the ground.
