ENGLAND

Nottingham Forest hosts Brentford in the Premier League on Sunday. Brentford is looking for only its second win of the season and is on the back of a three-game losing streak. Brentford hasn’'t won since the second game of the season when it beat Fulham 3-0.

Since then it’s been a barren six-game winless run. Forest lost 2-0 at Manchester City last time out and is seeking its first win in three matches.

SPAIN

Atletico Madrid hosts Cadiz seeking a third straight win to ensure it stays in touch with the leaders of the Spanish league. Atletico will be without top scorer Álvaro Morata, who is serving a one-game suspension, and will be missing several injured players including forward Memphis Depay.

That will likely leave the scoring duties to Antoine Griezmann and Ángel Correa. Real Betis welcomes Valencia after four games without a win across all competitions.

Last-place Almeria plays Granada in a clash of the two bottom sides. Alberto Lasarte will debut as Almeria’s interim coach after Vicente Moreno was fired this week. Osasuna also visits Alaves without suspended forward Chimy Ávila and injured midfielder Moi Gómez.

ITALY

Juventus and Atalanta are both looking to close in on the top of Serie A when they play each other in Bergamo. Fourth-place Juventus is one point above Atalanta and five below the Milan clubs, which lead Serie A. Atalanta has won its past three matches in all competition without conceding a goal, while Juventus has three victories in its past four matches.

Roma is in crisis with just one win in six league matches and Jose Mourinho’s side was humiliated 4-1 at promoted Genoa on Thursday. It plays another promoted side in Frosinone, which is enjoying an impressive start to the season.

Genoa visits Udinese, which is still looking for its first win. Empoli scored its first goal and first points back in Serie A midweek, with a 1-0 win over Salernitana, and will be looking to build on that when it visits Bologna.

GERMANY

Werder Bremen visits promoted Darmstadt and Freiburg welcomes Augsburg in the Bundesliga. Freiburg, which finished fifth last season, is hoping to end a run of three games without a win after starting with two wins.

Augsburg is also struggling for consistency but it did defeat Mainz 2-1 in its last game. Bremen is hoping to buck its trend of defeats away from home in the league so far. Darmstadt has only one point from its opening five games.

FRANCE

Second-place Brest faces a tough trip to play unbeaten Nice, which is in fourth place and has enjoyed recent wins against Monaco and defending champion Paris Saint-Germain. A draw won’t be enough for Brest to overtake leader Monaco on goal difference, but victory for either side guarantees first place.

The only other unbeaten team in the league is Rennes but has drawn five of six games so far. The Brittany side hosts mid-table Nantes. Meanwhile, Lyon is one of two sides yet to win and looks to put that right at Reims.
