Bowen has emerged as one of West Ham’s key players and was recalled to the England squad for the upcoming matches against Australia and Italy.

The 26-year-old has scored 45 goals in 166 appearances for the Hammers since joining from Hull in 2020, including the winner in the Europa Conference League final against Fiorentina in June.

“I’m so pleased to have signed a new long-term contract at West Ham,” Bowen told the club website. “Everyone knows what this club means to me, so committing my future until 2030 means so much to me and my family.”

West Ham manager David Moyes said after West Ham’s 2-2 draw with Newcastle on Sunday that the contract extension was “great news” for the club.

“He’s done amazing since he’s been here. He continues to improve,” Moyes said. “If you think of his own development as an individual, he started off at Hereford, moved to Hull and now in the Premier League and getting a chance to be in the England squad. I think he’ll get better as well.”
