Marathon world record-holder Paula Radcliffe has been forced to withdraw from her comeback race in Manchester later in May due to illness after an 18-month absence
British distance heroine Radcliffe, 37, has been ruled out of the 10km Great Manchester Run on May 15 with a chest and throat infection.
It was due to have been Radcliffe's first race since she took a break to give birth to her son, Raphael.
