Egypt's Mohamed Elshorbagy, the world number one in men's squash, has expressed his great delight after beating Frenchman Gregory Gaultier to clinch the Qatar Classic title on Friday.

Elshorbagy overcame the world number three 11/5, 11/7, 5/11, 12/10 in 58 minutes to add to his 2013 Qatar Classic title which he won when he defeated Englishman Nick Matthew.

"Words can't describe how happy I am to lift this prestigious Qatar Classic trophy for the second time. Thank you everyone for supporting me all week, you guys were great," Elshorbagy said via his official Facebook page on Saturday morning.

"Gaultier showed the champion he is and it's always great battles when we play and I can't wait til our next battle as these are the kind of battles I live for," he added.

The in-form 24-year-old also won the British Open earlier this year at the expense of Gaultier, beating him 3-2.

Elshorbagy marked his fourth consecutive Qatar Classic final with an impressive display against Gaultier to ensure his world supremacy.
