The International Handball Federation (IHF) have announced heavy punishments for Tunisia in the wake of the coach and players actions at the end of African Nations Cup finals game held last January in Cairo.
At the end of the game on 30 January, Tunisian team members charged the referees, accusing them of bias after a close loss of 21-19 to the Pharaohs.
The Tunisian Handball Federation (FTHB) were fined 3000 euro.
Meanwhile, players Majed Hamza and Mohamed Safar were hit by a full year suspension and 1600 euro fines, while Frenchman coach Sylvain Nouet was suspended for six month and fined 15,000 euro.
Four other players - Mahmoud Gharbi, Sobhi Sayed, Oussama Hosni and Seif Hemieda - were hit with 5300 Euros fines each and three continental games suspension.
