Squash: Egypt's Ashour beats Matthew to claim the World Masters title

Egypt’s top seed squash player, Ramy Ashour, snatched the World Masters Championship title after beating Nick Matthew in the final game

The world’s number two squash player, Ramy Ashour, took the upper hand in the game against England star Nick Matthew in the World Masters Squash Championship and edged to beat him 3-1 to claim the title for the second time in succession.

After dropping in the first set 9-11, Egyptian star Ashour bounced back to claim the second and third games 11-2, 11-2, in the championship that took place in the American city, Boston.

The youngest squash player to achieve world no. 1 in 2010, closed the points’ gap with his England foe, Nick Matthew, who topped the World ranking to 50.
