Ahly just won a single set in three games
Ahly have been eliminated from the first round of the FIVB club World championships after conceding a third straight loss in a game against Polish side PGE Skara Belchatow 3-0 ( 25-13, 25-10, 25-22), on Sunday in Doha (Qatar).
The African champion, lost their opening game on Wednesday against hosts Al-Arabi 3-1 (25-17, 25-27, 25-17, 25-20), before struggling two days later against Iranian champion Paykan Tehran 3-0 ( 25-20, 25-19,25-19).
PGE Skara Belchatow (Pol) will face Drean Bolivar (Arg) in the semi-final on Monday.
Iranian side Paykan Tehran will play Trentino Betclic (Ita) in the second semi earlier in the day.
The final will be played onTuesday.
