Zamalek clinched their seventh African Club Champions title after a 27-24 win over Tunisia’s Etoile Sportive du Sahel, Sunday, in Kaduna (Nigeria).
The White Knights maintained the superiority gained in the first half, which ended with a five goals difference (16-11), to win the title.
On the other hand, Ahly, which were Egypt’s second representative in the competition, ended fifth after beating Algeria’s Skikda 27-24 on Saturday.
Zamalek, that also won the African Championship for Cup Winners in April, will meet again Etoile Sportive du Sahel in the African Super Cup.
