Raneem El Welily became the third Egyptian to reach the World Championship semi-final in the Red Sea resort of El-Gouna after overcoming England's Laura Massaro on Wednesday.
El Welily booked a last-four spot for the fifth year in a row after defeating Massaro 3-1.
She fell behind in the first game, which Massaro won 11-8, but stormed back to win three sets (11-8, 12-10, 11-6) to join fellow Egyptians Nour El Sherbini and Nouran Gohar in the semis.
World number one and defending champion El Sherbini, the only Egyptian female to win the prestigious title, beat Britain's Sarah-Jane Perry 3-0 on Tuesday to set up an all-Egyptian semi-final against Gohar, who defeated Malaysia's Nicol David with the same score.
El Welily will face either India's Joshna Chinappa or France's Camille Serme in the semi final on Thursday.
"Joshna and Camille are very talented players, very strong and they've come so far, so it's going to be a hard match," El Welily told the tournament's official website.
"I just hope that I can make it two Egyptians in the final," she added.
