Egyptian rising star Tarek Momen beat Swiss opponent Nicolas Mueller to become the only qualifier to make the last 16 on Wednesday in the Squash's Hong Kong Cathay Pacific Open.
The 23-year-old from Cairo is one of six Egyptians to secure a place in Thursday's second round.
Mueller won the fist game, but Momen fought back to win the match 15-17, 11-4, 11-8, 11-7 in 48 minutes. Moemen will meet compatriot Karim Darwish in the second round.
