The Pharaohs toyed with their opponents, who barely put up a fight in a one-sided game.
Egypt led 19-7 at halftime and ran riot in the second to finish the game with a 19-goal advantage.
Keeper Mohamed Ali was named man of the match after producing a series of superb saves against USA, marking a 47% save rate.
Egypt, who had qualified for the main round with a game to spare in Group G, also defeated Croatia and Morocco in their opening two matches.
They sit on top of their group with maximum six points. The United States will hope Croatia defeat Morocco to reach the main round.
In the main round, Egypt will face Belgium on Thursday, Bahrain on Saturday and Denmark on Monday.
