The Pharaohs produced a string of fine displays throughout the game. During the match, the opponents did not pose any problems to the Egyptian side.
Egypt led the first-half 22-15 even after the Belgians narrowed their nine goals gap to seven in the last two minutes of the first half.
Egypt are now leading their group in the main round with six points, two points ahead of second place Denmark who will face Croatia later on Thursday.
The Pharaohs will face Bahrein on Saturday before taking on defending champions Denmark in a mouthwatering clash on Monday.
The first two teams in the main round will advance to the competition’s quarter-finals.
