The White Knights took a comfortable four-goal lead, leading 15-11 at halftime.

The second half was fiercely contested as the Red Devils narrowed the gap to only one goal in the final minute, but Zamalek held on to secure the title.

The victory marks a sweet revenge for Zamalek after losing 27-24 to Ahly in the African Super Cup earlier this month.

Zamalek also lost their league title for the first time in four years as Ahly clinched the domestic league title in the last moments of the competition.

However, their triumph in the continental competition will undoubtedly bring some consolation to the team and their fans after a disappointing season.
