“A new milestone unlocked, so happy to win another title here in BBVA open Val!” tweeted the 27-year-old.
Last week, Sherif reached the second round of the French Open and won the Makarska Open in Croatia.
Sherif dominated the Valencia Open, not dropping a single set throughout the tournament, setting a record.
Her world ranking is expected to improve after this victory. She is anticipated to enter the top 35 for the first time in her career, presently ranking 40th.
