Abokahla claimed the gold medals in the Clean & Jerk and Total events, while he secured the silver in Snatch.
Despite his lift of 174kg in the Snatch, it fell short of securing the gold, which was won by Iraqi weightlifter Qasim Al-Lami with a lift of 175kg.
However, Abokahla emerged victorious in the Clean & Jerk category by hoisting an impressive 213kg, surpassing the silver medalist Wong Jong-beom of South Korea by just one kg.
Another Egyptian weightlifter, Mahmoud Hassan, secured the bronze medal in Clean & Jerk by lifting 209kg.
As a result, the 26-year-old Abokahla claimed the gold medal in the Total category with a combined lift of 387kg, surpassing the South Korean weightlifter by three kg.
Al-Lami secured the bronze medal in Total with a total of 379kg.
In the women's edition, World Champion Sara Samir of Egypt will start her campaign in the 76 kg category on Thursday.
