AP, Friday 1 Apr 2011

Novak Djokovic has extended his winning streak to 25 consecutive matches since December by defeating American Mardy Fish 6-3, 6-1 in the semifinals at the Sony Ericsson Open.

Djokovic's opponent Sunday will be the winner of the match Friday night between top-ranked Rafael Nadal and No. 3 Roger Federer.

The No. 2-ranked Djokovic saved all six break points he faced Friday and has yet to be broken in 40 service games in the tournament. He hit 15 winners and committed only 14 unforced errors.

Djokovic won two Davis Cup matches in December and is 23-0 in 2011, the best record to begin a year since Ivan Lendl started 25-0 in 1986. The Serb has won three titles this year, including the Australian Open.
