The event, he said, will be broadcast live by hundreds of global television channels and media platforms to millions of viewers worldwide, underscoring its unprecedented cultural, historical, and touristic significance.

Rashwan said the global attention reflects the event’s unprecedented cultural, historical, and touristic significance, as well as the participation of a large number of world leaders, officials, and cultural figures attending the ceremony.

According to Rashwan, the list of journalists accredited to cover the event includes resident correspondents in Egypt and visiting journalists who arrived specifically for the event.

The media presence includes 70 European outlets, 24 American organizations, 30 Asian outlets, and 48 Arab media platforms. Among them are 70 of the world’s largest television networks and 35 major international news agencies, alongside newspapers and online news platforms.

Rashwan added that the SIS, in coordination with relevant institutions, has also provided free live broadcast feeds to thousands of international television channels to relay the opening ceremony and related events, in addition to facilitating the work of hundreds of photographers and journalists accompanying official delegations.

To support coverage, the SIS established operations rooms at its headquarters and at the Foreign Press Center to assist journalists and provide them with up-to-date information and materials throughout the event.

In cooperation with the National Press Authority, accredited journalists are being supplied with translated coverage from leading Egyptian media outlets, including Al-Ahram Hebdo in French, Al-Ahram Weekly and The Egyptian Gazette in English, as well as the Ahram Online news portal.

Rashwan noted that the SIS is also monitoring, analyzing, and compiling international media coverage of the event and will share reports with the Egyptian public once the celebrations conclude.

He praised the extensive and professional coverage by Egyptian media, saying that many foreign outlets have relied on Egypt’s national press and broadcasters in their reporting, ensuring the country’s message and cultural achievement reach audiences worldwide.
