Ministry of Youth and Sports holds arts competition

The competition aims to spur creativity among university students across Egypt's 13 governorates

Targeting Egyptian university students, the 6th edition of an annual arts competition organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports took place between 7 and 9 February 2018. 

The competition focuses on showcasing folkloric arts from across Egypt. This year over 390 students particpated, representing 13 governmental and private universities, institutes and academies.

The events were attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Amal Gamal Soliman and General Secretary of the Arts and Culture Department Nagwa Salah.

The prizes of the competition are worth EGP 792,000 in total.
