In the presence of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar and chairman of the board of Banque Misr Mahmoud El-Etreby, Nile University launched Monday, 14 May, a new project to integrate education and industrial and community challenges
The project aims to support local industry, entrepreneurship and innovation. The project is supported by the Egyptian Central Bank's Nile Pioneers Initiative, the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, the Erasmus+ Project, for the development of education, and Banque Misr.
During the event, Abdel-Ghaffar welcomed as fruitful the cooperation between the state, the university and civil society the project entails, underlining that the existence of centres of entrepreneurship in universities bolster scientific research and serve society.
Tarek Khalil, president of Nile University, said that the mission of the university is to contribute effectively to the national economy based on utilising modern technology and knowledge, thanking supporters of the project.
