Egyptian ambassador to Serbia Amr Aljowaily has discussed with mayor of Serbria’s Novi Sad Milos Vucevic Egypt's participation in the European Capital for Youth Forum 2019.
Novi Sad is the second largest city in Serbia and capital of the autonomous province of Vojvodina.
The mayor said that the city welcomes cultural cooperation with Egypt, and Aljowaily invited Vucevic to attend the upcoming World Youth Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh.
Ambassador Aljowaily and Mayor Vucevic also launched an initiative of cooperation between Alexandria and Novi Sad.
The Egyptian ambassador briefed the mayor on the programme of the Sharm El-Sheikh Youth Forum scheduled for November 2018. Aljowaily invited Vucevic to learn about Egypt's pioneering efforts in tackling youth-related issues and to launch joint activities at forums to be hosted by Novi Sad as the European Capital for Youth next year.
Vucevic invited Egyptian youth to participate in the major activities hosted by the city, especially the ‘Exit Festival,’ which is the largest European festival dedicated to youth music.
