Egypt culture minister discusses cultural cooperation with Armenian ambassador

Egypt's Minister of Culture Ines Abdel-Dayem met with Armenian ambassador to Egypt Karen Levoni Grigorian on 22 April to discuss enhancing intellectual and artistic relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, Abdel-Dayem stressed the strong relations between Egypt and Armenia, and highlighted the agreement to organise an Egyptian cultural week in Armenia, which will include many different activities reflecting all creative art forms.

The minister also highlighted a protocol of cooperation in the fields of libraries and translation.

Ambassador Grigorian praised the crucial role played by Egypt in the enlightenment movement throughout history as one of the oldest civilisations on earth, referring to the role of culture and arts in building bridges of communication among nations . The ambassador also praised the intensive creative activities currently taking place in Egypt.
