Egypt's culture minister, UAE ambassador discuss cultural and artistic exchange

Egyptian Minister of Culture Ines Abdel-Dayem received UAE Ambassador to Egypt Gomaa Mubarak Al-Juneibi on 27 August to discuss enhancing cultural and artistic relations between the two countries.

Abdel-Dayem pointed out that Egypt and the UAE have strong ties and a long history of friendly relations, adding that the near future will witness a variety of cultural activities to strengthen bridges of communication and friendship between UAE and Egypt.

Abdel-Dayem and Al-Juneibi discussed holding a number of projects that will shed light on the development of the intellectual and artistic scene in both societies.

In addition, she stressed that the meeting dealt with many cultural issues on the Arabic and international levels.

Al-Juneibi praised the cultural renaissance happening in Egypt and said that he follows the various intellectual and artistic activities organised by Egypt in other Arab countries. He also stressed the need to start implementing the artistic and cultural exchange projects discussed in the meeting.
