‘Don't forget the people around you’ is a new campaign launched by the Faculty of Information at Misr University for Science and Technology (MUST) to encourage people to give to the needy during the coronavirus crisis.

The students, in their role as the media figures of the future, are working to expand the circle of awareness as well as voluntary and symbiotic initiatives under the slogan ‘Don't forget the people around you.’

The students are urging fellow young people through social media to put aside a small portion of their purchases when they go shopping for household items to give to those in need who they meet along the way, whether they be sanitation workers, doormen, security guards, bus drivers, or delivery men.

The campaign is run by the Faculty of Information executive team: Dr. Hisham Attia, Dr. Lamia Sameh, Dr. Pakinam Hassan, and Dr. Nahla Helmy.

The faculty affirmed that it has no objection to cooperating with other colleges and universities in this campaign, as this is all for the public good.
