An array of senior media, press, radio and television experts participated in a seminar organised by the Modern Sciences and Arts university's (MSA) Faculty of Mass Communication.

Egypt's first and largest hybrid information seminar entitled "Egypt, A Youthful Vision" was attended by senior media, press, radio and television figures and symbols, as well as heads of satellite channels, and media professors in Egypt and the Arab world. The event was an organizational and technical success.

During the seminar, Al-Ahram Weekly's colleague Nader Habib was honored, among a group of senior media professionals, for his active participation in evaluating the journalism department's graduation projects.

The seminar was organised by Amani Fahmi, dean of the MSA's faculty of mass communication, to celebrate the distinguished media productions that were proposed and discussed as part of the graduation projects of senior year students at the university, under the patronage of  Nawal El-Degwi, Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees.

The seminar discussed three main points: How young media professionals deal with issues of Egyptian society; the future of media and the role of the youth in relation to it; and how studying media affects students' personalities.

More than 4000 viewers watched and interacted with the seminar via the internet through remote interaction programmes, and direct digital broadcasts through the university's official social media channels.
