Within the framework of the project “Life and Work in Germany”, the Goethe-Institute Cairo is organising free workshops for those who have the opportunity to work in Germany.
The project, funded by the European Union's Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), aims to answer basic questions that concern job holders before travelling to Germany, such as travel preparations, first steps upon arrival, and language skills required for daily life.
This should increase their chance of success in work and facilitate their smooth integration into the community.
The free workshops should help them integrate into German society, overcome obstacles that usually arise due to cultural and linguistic differences, and provide them with the basic tools necessary for their work.
In addition to the intercultural training, the workshops include seminars on the German language as well as education and exam strategies. There is also an opportunity for personal counselling by presenting a realistic picture of life and work in Germany.
Registration and detailed information about the project are available on the website of Goethe-Institute Cairo at the following link: https://www.goethe.de/ins/eg/ar/spr/eng/lid.html
All workshops are held online for free.
