Russian language professors in MENA visit Cairo's tourist attractions

The Russian Language Teachers in the Middle East and North Africa Conference, which was held at the Russian House in Cairo, has concluded its activities. The event was attended by the representatives of 11 countries and 100 Russian language teachers.

Guests participating in the conference toured the most important landmarks of Cairo, including the pyramids of Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum, Old Cairo, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisations, and the Khan Al-Khalili district.

The group expressed its admiration for the diversity of the ancient Egyptian civilisation and the beauty of its antiquities.

Tatiana Kruglova, head of the delegation, said "the guests of Egypt can't imagine their visit without seeing the Giza pyramids."

“The delegation, consisting of 11 countries, unanimously asked to see the tourist attractions of Cairo before returning to their homeland, where they spent good times touring the famous monuments, and were warmly welcomed by the people of Egypt.”

Marat Gatin, director of the Russian Cultural Centres in Egypt, said the conference in Cairo reinforces the cultural ties between Egypt and Russia.

Denis Bronnikov, supervisor of Russian Language Courses at the Russian Cultural Centre in Cairo, said that the large delegation that participated in the conference expressed their happiness with learning about the new methods of teaching the Russian language through lectures and workshops given by specialists.
