The organization is part of the coalition of Egyptian organizations that serves Hayah Karima (Decent Life) initiative, launched to develop the countryside, under the direction of President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi.

The gala proceeds will go to the service of the underprivileged in Egyptian society.

The event was attended by over 500 Egyptian-Americans and Egyptians abroad, as well as a delegate from the Consulate-General of Egypt in New York.

Keynote speakers at the event included writer Khaled Montasser, Egyptian actress Nelly Karim and the three brothers: actor Hany Ramsey, lawyer and Egyptian parliament member Ehab Ramsey, and founder of the Shepherd of Egypt judge Amir Ramsey.

A panel discussion was moderated by US anchor Michael Morgan.
