The delegation included post-grads from the Russian State University of Education and Moscow State University of Linguistics.
The delegation thanked the administration of the Russian House in Cairo for providing them the opportunity to teach their language to Egyptian students, who expressed great interest and talent in learning the language.
“We were keen to visit Cairo's unique monuments, whether archaeological or religious. We were pleased with the great interest we felt among Egyptians towards the Russian culture,” the delegation members said.
For his part, Director of the Russian Cultural Centres in Egypt Marat Gatin stated that "the visit was beneficial to the Egyptian and Russian sides, providing training to Russian students and an opportunity for Egyptian students to study the Russian language with native speakers.”
The delegation also arranged lectures for Russian children living in Egypt in their mother tongue.
Gatin praised these lectures, saying they helped “build communication bridges with the homeland.”
