Asano Takuji, president of the Egyptian-Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Professor Hassan Kamal Harb, Head of the Japanese Language Department at Cairo University, and Marwa Kamal, a graduate of the Department of Japanese Language and Literature at Cairo University and a project manager in the Hitachi Egypt office were guests of honour at the event.
Japanese language students from Ahram-Canadian University, Cairo University, Ain Shams University, MUST University, Galala University, Al Azhar University, and Banha University, enlivened the evening with short sketches, songs, and dance performances in addition to original Manga artworks.
"This evening made us feel that the circle of communication through the Japanese language is expanding more and more. We hope this event will help connect Egyptians learning Japanese with one another and motivate them," said the Japanese ambassador.
