
Egypt s ambassador in Greece Omar Amer Youssef with ambassadors of Iraq, Kuwait, Morocco, Tunisia and Rashad Mabger, Secretary-General of Arab-Hellenic Chamber
The attendees included Lana Abo-Zeid, Legal Expert at the National Council for Women; George Kelliny, Counsul of Egypt to Greece; Entrepreneur Catherine Sofianou, Ambassador of the Greek Diaspora; Rashad Mabger, Secretary General of the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development; and the Ambassador of Iraq to Greece, Mouayed Saleh.
Magdy Radwan, the Defence Attaché at the Egyptian Embassy in Athens, and Counselor Ahmed El-Ghoul, the Deputy Chief of Mission, attended the event.
Ambassador Youssef also welcomed Kostas Fragogiannis, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy; Ioannis Chrysoulakis, Secretary-General of Hellenism Abroad and Public Diplomacy; Bebeb Djundjunan, Ambassador of Indonesia to Greece; Mansour Saad Al Olaimi, Ambassador of Kuwait to Greece; Souad Trabelsi, Ambassador of Tunisia to Greece; Yussef Dorkhom; Ambassador of Palestine to Greece; Ghady El Khoury; Ambassador of Lebanon to Greece; Aamar Qureshi, Ambassador of Pakistan to Greece; and Mohamed Sbihi, Ambassador of Morocco to Greece.
At the event, Ambassador Youssef said: "The relationship between Egypt and Greece is not limited to the past or the present only, but rather it is a relationship that anticipates the future and its promising possibilities.”
He added: "Last March, President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis signed a political declaration to establish a high-level cooperation council between Egypt and Greece as an important step to strengthen bilateral relations based on the foundations and principles of international law, mutual trust, and respect."
