The Leaders League is a competition that funds small projects from different universities.

It started with 2,500 projects that were filtered during the pitching phase in July 2023, with only 100 projects reaching the final phase.

Only two winners/projects will be financially supported by the private sector and the government.

During the event, a booth was provided for each model/simulation for marketing.

The conclusion of the competition was attended by Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, deputy prime minister for human development and minister of health and population; Maya Morsi, minister of social solidarity; and representatives of the government, private sector, the media field, and distinguished youth cadres.

The YLF Leaders League programme brings together students from all universities nationwide, such as Future University in Egypt, Mansoura University, Cairo University, Misr International University (MIU), and The British University in Egypt (BUE), among other universities to achieve sustainable development goals and Egypt's Vision 2030.

The programme is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the National Council for Women, the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, with Telecom Egypt lead partner and Banque Misr strategic partner.

Future University in Egypt students talked to Ahram Online about the EU simulation model — a student activity that introduces how European policies are managed and how the EU as an institution works.

The EU simulation model provides a great opportunity for students in Egypt to enhance their knowledge of European politics, develop teamwork, and gain new experiences and skills through ongoing discussions,

They learn about the most prominent problems faced by the EU, how they discuss them, and how they find solutions to them.
