The visit aimed to deliver humanitarian aid to the orphanage children, including food, clothing, cleaning products, and hygiene items.

It came as part of the "Step Forward" initiative, which Russian citizens' organizations in Egypt established.

This initiative is a charitable project that aims to help those in need. Its slogan is "Together, we can achieve so much more—it’s easy to lend a hand."

Around 40 volunteers visited the orphanage, with over 60 people contributing to the effort.

Before the visit, four donation collection points were set up in various areas across New Cairo, 6 October City, Dokki, and Maadi.

Activists from the Russian citizens' community group Code of Culture collaborated with the Russian House Youth Club in Cairo, volunteers, and devoted individuals to visit the orphanage and offer the children warmth, care, and attention.

Under the environmental campaign "A Clean World Begins with You," a cleanup drive was carried out, and flowers were planted for the children at the orphanage.

Additionally, a fabric doll-making workshop was organized.
