The performance featured Tunisian singer Dorra Jelidi and the Salon of Arabic Music ensemble from Kairouan, led by conductor Sufian Al-Amari.
The concert was organized within the Ramadan Evenings programme run by Egypt’s Ministry of Culture and under the patronage of its minister, Dr Gehan Zaki, which hosts musical and cultural performances throughout the month.
According to Tunisian embassy officials, the programme included a selection of traditional Tunisian songs alongside classical Arabic pieces.

Dr Doha Al-Showeikh, Chargé d'Affaires at the Tunisian embassy in Cairo, said the event was intended to highlight Tunisian musical heritage and strengthen cultural ties between Egypt and Tunisia.
Al-Showeikh praised the important role of arts and music in enhancing rapprochement and understanding among Arab peoples.
“The musical programme included a selection of pieces combining distinctive Tunisian rhythms and timeless Arab melodies, offering the audience a rich artistic experience that revived the joy of live music in a special Ramadan atmosphere,” she said.
Cultural figures, artists, and media representatives from both countries attended the performance.
