With Latinos on a steady rise in the US, the Latin Grammy is taking a more important role.

This year’s honouree, Shakira, and Gucci’s release of what they call a “bold” limited edition watch and bracelet design just added more hype to this weekend’s awards event.

The I-Gucci watch is their first digital watch and boasts some I-Phone technology and interesting features.

For the sleek but casual: the bracelet is in black leather and sports the Grammy's logo.
