"Men's" fashion trends are, quite simply, seeing feminine touches. Designers nowadays make cuts that sometimes don't differ much from a woman's cut. Some metrosexuals accept whatever a designer puts on the table because it's "designer."
In the beginning…
It all started with a necklace. Out of nowhere Egyptian men started wearing them. Odd at first that a man would wear an accessory in this culture, everyone nevertheless remained calm.
Years passed and bracelets started trending. Some girls thought of it as a sexy, hot trend. This idea that men that wore necklaces or bracelets were more handsome was especially prevalent among fashion freaks and professionals.
Then? Pink shirts. Many men could argue it's a sign of being comfortable with their masculinity - which impresses women.
The straw…
Finally: the purse. A crown jewel for women. Added to an outfit it is as if glamour is about to speak. But the male-purse trend is like a fashion curse for men. This was the line.
Playing with character, personality and charisma is perfectly fine, but this accessory is responsible for turning off many women.
And now: Almost overboard…
Strangely, skinny trousers are currently all the rage in men's fashion, not to mention that the trousers come in all colours! Normally, skinny pants are an excuse to show off women's curves.
Some men can get away with wearing skinnies - as long as they don't dare wear them in our feminine colours!
