The event will pay tribute to Egypt’s rich heritage and civilisation under the theme of ‘Past, Present and Future,’ showcasing the country's fashion scene.
The event aims to connect the local, African, and Middle Eastern markets through design; craftsmanship; education; sustainability; production, and retail.
The opening gala will be held at the Egyptian Museum, in Downtown Cairo, while the next two days will showcase panels, exhibitions and workshops at the Agricultural Museum, with the final day hosting a pop-up shop at Mall of Arabia.
The event is co-produced by Creative Headz and Launchmetrics, with the theme chosen to inspire designers to draw inspiration from Egypt's rich culture and heritage while keeping in mind current global trends and anticipating future developments.
The event is expected to boost the popularity of local fashion brands, which have been gaining traction among Middle Eastern consumers.
