The Emmys 2025 red carpet proved that the drama often begins long before the awards are handed out. Hours ahead of the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, stars from television’s most talked-about series transformed the red carpet into a runway of bold statements, elegant classics and experimental designs.

Britt Lower of Severance, the Apple TV+ psychological thriller that led the nominations with 27 nods, turned heads in a shimmering copper Calvin Klein Collection gown by Veronica Leoni. The dress’s structured silhouette and metallic sheen echoed the show’s sleek, dystopian aesthetic, a fitting choice for the actress who later collected the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

Cristin Milioti also claimed the spotlight, both for her performance in HBO’s The Penguin and for her striking custom crimson Danielle Frankel gown, which brought old Hollywood glamour to the carpet. Her exuberant acceptance speech, punctuated with a jubilant “wooo!”, was matched by her confident style.

Seth Rogen leaned into his reputation as Hollywood’s “chillest suit guru”, arriving in a custom Etro suit that blurred the line between sharp tailoring and playful irreverence—much like his record-breaking comedy The Studio, which took home 13 wins.

Other standouts included Jenna Ortega in a glittering Givenchy top made of jewels, Lisa in a candy-pink Lever Couture gown, and Scarlett Johansson in a pastel yellow Prada strapless creation, a study in understated elegance.

If television celebrates the best stories, this year’s Emmys red carpet celebrated the art of telling them through fashion.
