Minister of Tourism and Antiquitie Khaled El-Enany visits the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)
Minister of Tourism and Antiquitie Khaled El-Enany visited the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) to inspect the progress on the exhibitions in the atrium, grand staircase and the two galleries of Tutankhamun.
All the gigantic objects have been installed in their permanent location in the atrium and on the grand staircase.
Now, fine restoration is being carried out.
In Tutankhamun’s galleries, all the 107 showcases have been installed in place and 65 of them have been filled with Tutankhamun’s objects.
The minister thanked all the GEM’s staff for their hard to make the "GEM dream come true."
He asserted that upon completion Tutankhamun’s galleries "will be the best in the whole world."
