At the end of a 10-day tour of the United States to promote tourism to Egypt, Minister of State for Antiquities Zahi Hawass will hold a lecture on recent archaeological discoveries in Egypt at the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno, Nevada.

At Reno University a gala ceremony on Egypt will be organised, in addition to a press conference. Hawass and the wife of late Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, Gihan, will talk about Egypt and its recent developments.

Hawass and El-Sadat will also reassure audiences that Egypt is a safe country to visit, and that popular sites are ready and eager to receive tourists. Both will call on the American people to come and experience Egypt's ancient heritage, including Coptic and Islamic monuments, first hand.
