Tomorrow afternoon, the secretary general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA), Mostafa Amine, will inaugurate the council's winter cultural season, following a nine month pause after the January revolution.
The event will be headlined with a lecture by the head of the Czech Archaeological Institute in Cairo, Zbigniew Szafranski, on Hatshepsut Temple at Al-Deir Al-Bahari area on Luxor’s West Bank and its distinguished architectural style.
During the event, the publication of cahier No 42 of the Annals du Service De Antiquites de L’Egypte, entitled “Scribe of Justice” will be launched on the occasion of honouring Schafik Allam, professor of art and ancient Egyptian language, at Tübingen University in Germany.
