To commemorate the Pharaohs Golden Parade — where 22 royal mummies were transported from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) — the sheet music, conductor’s baton, and samples of the clothes that were used in the parade are now on display at the entrance of the NMEC’s main hall.

Ahmed Ghoneim, the NMEC’s executive head, said that these items will enrich the museum’s collection as well as attract visitors to the museum that may be fans of the parade or are interested in fashion.

He added that visitors to the museum are already extremely happy with the parade exhibit, with many choosing to take photos beside the items that were integral to the exceptional event that was broadcasted worldwide last April and dazzled the whole world.
