Mostafa Waziri, secretary-general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA), said the refurbished project integrates cutting-edge facilities to accommodate a growing number of visitors.
This aligns with Egypt's broader vision to increase the capacity of reception areas and streamline ticketing processes at key archaeological sites and museums, he added.
“The inauguration of the Kom Ombo Temple hall follows the renovation of the reception at Edfu Temple in Aswan. These come in a series of ongoing projects aimed to develop archaeological sites and museums to provide a more enjoyable tourist experience,” said Khaled Sherif, assistant to the tourism minister for digital transformation.
Sherif emphasized the role of technology in enhancing visitor experience. The newly renovated hall is part of the ministry's commitment to digital transformation, making the entry process smoother and more convenient.
