The House of Egyptian Architecture announced on its Facebook page it will host on Saturday evening an open forum with well-known journalist Hanan Hagag titled Dealing with Egyptian Heritage.
Hagag, who is a writer at Al-Ahram Daily newspaper and has led initiatives to preserve Egyptian heritage, will discuss the urgent need to exert more efforts to preserve the country's heritage, as well as the dangers that threaten its legacy.
According to the announcement, Hagag will also discuss a recent controversial decree to move 55 historical pulpits from Islamic mosques to museums.
