The exhibition highlights seven rare artefacts from the museum’s collection, offering visitors a closer look at finely crafted pieces that reflect both artistic sophistication and the evolution of aesthetic tastes associated with Egyptian women.
It forms part of the museum’s broader efforts to enhance the visitor experience and showcase previously unseen items.
According to the museum’s director, Amin Mahmoud El-Kahky, the exhibition underscores the institution’s commitment to presenting distinctive artefacts while shedding light on the craftsmanship and range of materials used in historical jewellery-making.
He said the selected pieces exemplify intricate handmade techniques and refined artistic expression.
Among the items on display are a necklace made of orange quartz stones, a silver bracelet combining spherical and cubic forms, and another adorned with dangling pendants.
The exhibition also features a colourful beaded belt, a multi-coloured enamel bracelet designed in the form of interlocking floral motifs, and a gold-plated silver brooch set with blue quartz.
A pair of shoulder ornaments made of coloured glass stones further enriches the collection.
